Project RISE FOIE GRAS researchers belonging to the groups at CNC UC Portugal, CNR, Italy and APDP Diabetes Portugal, attended 55th Annual Meeting of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD 2019) held in Barcelona from September 16-20, 2019.
John Jones (CNC, Portugal) gave a talk on “How to trace metabolic fluxes” and Amalia Gastaldelli (CNR, Italy) gave an oral presentation” The role of the liver in insulin resistance and clearance”. Both talks were part of the European Group for the Study of Insulin Resistance (EGIR) symposium.
Also present at the meeting was Paula Macedo from APDP Diabetes, Portugal.
